Kinda bummed to see Nesmith play so terribly. The Pacers miss Mathurin, especially if Nesmith is useless.

Knicks lack of size without OG out is glaring. I think Boston would have them outsized in every position, including the bench players, outside of PP.
Knicks without OG are going to have a difficult time advancing and can’t really afford another injury with their bench being so horrific. It’s like they begin a series and can afford max one guy going down if they want to advance.

Here
Knicks tweeted sore left hamstring and out for rest of tonight.
Yeah, this is horrible news for the Knicks. If he's out for the series, they NEED to win tonight, or they're in big trouble.

And if this a significant hammy, he could easily miss a month or more.

I'm sorry, but you need to fucking let someone other than Brunson beat you.

Yeah that didn’t look like something he’s back from in 4 days. How much can a shot help a hamstring in such a short period of time?
It's not really a pain tolerance thing.

Even if you could entirely mask the pain, a partially torn hamstring (sure looked like thats what happened) is going to:

1. be weak
2. have a high risk of tearing even worse if you try to play on it right away.

If they are very lucky and it's very low grade, maybe 1-2 weeks. But the way he reacted and could barely move, seems unlikely. If it's grade 2, even 3-4 weeks would be a very optimistic timeline.

Precious is really not good. No wonder he doesn't play. Knicks are probably fucked without OG. Brunson obviously is the engine, but OG pulls it all together for them. But Halliburton looks so passive and Pacers are just so bad on D, who knows.

Is Siakam drunk or gassed? Misses both FTs badly, fails to find Hartenstein or make a play for the rebound on the other end.

wasn't it divincenzo crashing from the corner? No one on Indy is boxing out but to be fair I don't think they even teach them to box out perimeter guys anymore
Yeah that’s who it was and Siakam was standing there looking for a body…..how about the one about to crash?

The 718
This is over.
Barkley was right when he said the Pacers, up by 10 at the half, with Brunson iffy, had to win this game. Don't see them winning 4 of the next 5 which would have to include a game 6 or 7 in NY.

I think it goes 7…which is optimal for us. Knicks are on pure adrenaline tonight which won’t travel with them.

Rick Carlisle great coach.

TJ McConnell standing on the sideline watching Brunson rip the Pacers hearts out.
