Visited my grandparents in Fla. in 1982, and went for the FSU hat over all the Gator crap when my parents told me I needed sun protection.
Moved to Oregon from Vermont in 1996, and was open to suggestion. Hard not to root for teams named "Ducks" and "Beavers", but I settled on the former.
I like 'em, not just when they're good.
