Millar talked about it last night. Some players are swinging bats that have weight in the handle.
Millar has 10 minutes of fresh material. Unfortunately that 10 minutes was up almost an hour ago.
I know it's early in his career but he gives me EdRo 2.0 vibes. Great stuff but throws a ton of pitches. And then can lose it in a heartbeat. Hopefully in his case he can mature out of it.
Bello was blowing on his hands 2-3 times after every pitch. I think he‘s just having trouble with his command in the cold.
I’ll take Millar’s goofiness over Will Fleming’s dry popcorn fart announcing any day. Yeah Millar can be too much sometimes but Fleming is just about as dull as a bowling ball.
I think he has a mild sprain. Out because of the score. He was stretching before the game, in a way he doesn't normally do. (Thanks Refsnyder)

The Mariner pitcher didn't act too cold. I know they would prefer it weren't 48 degrees but it could be worse. The fact that he's in constant motion should aleviate some of the chill.
Plus he's from Ft. Collins, CO so unlike our Dominican pitcher, he should be used to the cold. But yeah, 8 runs.
Which raises the question: why did Oakland have a major league ready player in the minors?
It's possible we're just seing Peak Pablo, and he regresses. Some dudes just like the bright lights, and the lights don't get much brighter than Fenway Park.
