I was surprised how good he is at imitating the great Vin Scully. Now, if he could somehow improve his own calls, or just do Scully as others said.
For all that I'd like to see DOB replaced by Monaco, I would, of course, absolutely welcome DOB upping his game.
Being out of the area, I haven't heard Monaco. Is he a local guy? As for DOB improving, as long as he keeps using stuff like "deadaway center field", "Hoovered up", etc., I don't think there's much hope. Do Scully, yeah.
And there are possible positive collaterals, as maybe it would cause DOB to replace Fleming
The Padres had a team meeting after yesterdays game. They seem like a dysfunctional bunch that the Sox are getting at the right time.
Why? The WooSox are leading 5-0 and Flash Gordon is being interviewed by Monaco.
Yes, I was looking forward to watching all of this one before I realized there it's a travel day with no game.
