That's what I was thinking too. He probably has a contract or agreement to "exclusively" announce on PT and that got screwed up by Haynes' "family friend" source.
You'd think his camp would get it done asap now, this really screws with both fan bases emotions.

In my scenario, I was thinking the Celtics leaked the information and that turned Gordon off. That's just doom casting though.
Definitely feel like he has to pull the trigger on a formal announcement now that the cat's out of the bag. Just get it over with.

Now Hayward's agent saying a decision may not get announced today because they have to "regroup".
This doesn't sound good AT ALL.

If a Boston organization source did leak it, it would give me pause about joining a franchise that I had doubts about trusting
