Felt like I was watching a Jets game with the way the Colts were covering on that drive

In the Brazilian ESPN broadcast, most of the breaks don't have commercials, just random b-roll of NFL plays and the announcers reading tweets or shooting the shit. I long for the Geico lizard.
To be fair, I have a kind of infatuation with the Geico Ice-T commercial.

They bring so little insight to the game I have grown to appreciate the hijinks and terrible puns. Whenever they try to seriously analyze the game it usually infuriates me.

Same here. Most of the time I watch US online streams, so I hadn't seen them for a while, and it's amazing that after so many years, they haven't bothered to learn more than just the most basic knowledge of the game. The jokes are, however, much better.

Goodell should reform his image by landing a helicopter at midfield to declare this a tie and save America from having to watch overtime in this shitshow.

Collinsworth knows better. But he also knows his job isn't to explain football to the unwashed masses...learning isn't fun.

Edit: I clearly missed something here. Carry on, lads.

Romulo can be tiring, but I think he's legitimately funny. Everaldo is just the fucking worst, though.

Yeah, this is why I can't shit on these guys too hard - most of the NFL audience here isn't looking for deep analysis, they just wanna watch the large men run into each other. Also worth noting, they work a lot more broadcasts than any US football announcer, and on multiple sports - they don't have much time to prepare for a NFL broadcast.

Michaels has to be thrilled. Gambling implications everywhere. 48 is the over and HOU was -3.

I caught a Romulo CFB game the other day, and laughed through the whole thing.

Back in the day, I remember watching Ivan Zimmerman call games and loving him. I think these guys are all in that mold - be funny and entertaining above all else. Probably works for most of the audience - worked for me as a teenager.

I love how Brock O. is going to make 202323255464545355345345 dollars in his career off a Patriots muffed punt.

I always love the "Kicker X told me that he feels good out to about 58-60 yards..."

Sure dude.
