Why? RBs should get credit for avoiding contact (jukes, finding the right hole, outrunning defenders). It's not all on the O-Line.

Becuase you should not get an MVP for being fast and having good vision. David Johnson and Bell are both more deserving than him.

Right, the #1 seed after the Patriots lost their last 2 and HFA; Denver panicked in their last game vs San Diego, put the corpse of Manning in, he did a tremendous job handing the ball off the rest of the game and then won.

Then they stuck with him and he did another tremendous job handing the ball off vs Pittsburg, who despite being down their two best offensive weapons, had that game in their hands until a late fumble (yeah, I know; a late turnover out in Denver, I know how crazy and improbable that sounds, but just play along) cost them the game.

Then in the AFCCG, the Patriots all world kicker missed a PAT (yeah, I know, yet another crazy, totally improbable thing happening to a visiting team in Denver, but again, just play along) and Denver's defense played out of their minds and Manning did yet another superb handing off job while also finding the corpse of Owen Daniels twice for gimme TD's and they won.

So; yes, #1 seed, but also yes, lightning in a bottle.

Fucking right. Embarrassing that we lost to them twice.
