Did that look confusing on the field graphic to anyone else? Tirico says the run was for a first, but the blue and yellow lines looked like that had gotten the first on the scramble

Yeah, the lines were wrong. It was 2nd and 1 and the graphics people thought it was a first down.

He's a RB... they took the best offer they could get, and it was a key to getting up to the #1 pick to get their choice at QB (which looks wrong now, but that's the draft). They were going nowhere, he's an expensive RB who was constantly injured and would be close to 30 by the time they were rebuilt. RBs just don't have trade value, not even the best one in the league.

Consensus by the pundits and "experts" is that the 9ers got robbed at the time. Goes to show how these things can go.

Man does Kyle trust Purdy so much more than any other QB I’ve ever seen him have on the niners. He’s running and taking a FG with all others, including Jimmy.
