Definitely but when you release your 4th rounder a year after the draft and the QB selected 5 spots later leads the league in passing yards, something went very wrong.

And I’m not saying it’s specifically missing on Howell. But the process that led to releasing your 4th round backup quarterback 12 months after drafting them. In isolation Strange and Jones are nice players but the overall context of that 2022 draft stinks, imo.

To bring it back to this game, Howell will be interesting to watch for the next few years. I can see a nice career, especially with a better line. But to some extent, also would be nice to see him do more with the lead. They’ve played behind so much this season.

Sam Howell is so much more interesting as a clips QB than a whole game. You watch clips you see like 4-5 really good throws a game.

You watch the whole game you realize he threw it like 50 times and 30 of them were trash.
