The NBA All-Star game is mostly for fun, so I don't think they need to get rid of fan voting. It is telling though, that the NBA has enough dumb fans that would vote for a guy who hasn't played a half-dozen games into the all-star game over say, Damian Lillard.
Also, if John Wall was Uncle Drew he would be a starter this year.
