Oh hey, a small 2/fake 1 who can defend and isn't a great shooter.
Fits right into what we need.

Rozier is a pretty good player, it's bit high, but not crazy. If he were going to Milwaukee at 17 it might be a good pick.
HOWEVER, he makes absolutely no sense for the Celtics unless they are trading at least 1 if not both of Smart and Bradley.

So much for the Celts front office getting our vote as the best or second best of the Boston franchises. Goddamn

The bumps on his head are exceptional

I like the pick.  Its a very 2015 and the guy can score.  I mean, the 16th pick in this draft is the equivalent of shopping the sale racks at a box store - you aren't going to get the sweetest items.  You are stoked if you get something you'll use on the reg...

Ainge is a great trader, but an aggressively average judge of talent.

Ooof. I know it's the 16 pick, so it was unlikely to help regardless, but just oof.

Trades can happen down the road and hey, maybe Rozier turns into Eric Bledsoe like Jalen said he might be able to. I'm not crazy about the pick, but I'm willing to give Danny and the guy a chance before burying him.

That being said, I think one of Dekker, Portis, Anderson, Hunter or Grant is going to turn into a real player.

Don't we already have two guys who fit that description?
Don't forget "didn't play a lot of pg in college but will have to in the pros due to his size."

Marcus Banks redux.

I think the pick makes it pretty clear that they will be.

They could have got Rozier at pick 28 probably. Wtf are they doing?
I hate this pick, but this isn't the NFL. If you like a guy at this point, just take him. No sense in risking it.

I hate this. I don't like the pick but we have no clue who else may have liked him.
