I am not ok with Big Papi sharing a bucket of popcorn with Arod and Jeter

Again proving the uselessness of the extra umpires.
"I know. Let's create a new position just for this game and the playoffs and put umpires in spots they're never in!!!! Brilliant."

Wait Romano hurt himself on the pitch or Baker pulled him before waiting for the replay?

Looked like he was grimacing and grabbing his hip or upper leg a bit.

I also assume the 3 batter rule applies in the ASG so had to be an injury

Off the field, Derek Jeter has a lot of similarities to Joe DiMaggio.

It's kind of funny how many people would take that as a compliment.

I was fortunate to attend the 2003 All Star Game in Chicago. It was an incredible few days of sheer excitement. The game has changed quite a bit in the past 20 years!

Yeah I agree. When I was a kid it was always such an event. 90’s through early 2000’s. Now we have whatever this is. Maybe I’m just old and bitter

If either Jeter or ARod had souls, they'd say "that's the first time you ever played defense" when Papi said he was playing defense with the popcorn. But they don't. They are un-dead.

Catfish Hunter pitched the last 5 innings in relief in the ALs 15 inning loss in 1967, the 1st asg I was aware of.

I miss Rose plowing into Fosse to destroy his career back in 1970. The good old days.
