That was a great game. The result sucked, but the game was fantastic
What would you do? I thought he might go Salazar, but this way he can throw both Bauer and Kluber again if he needs to, and Bauer was totally dominant in game 1.
I would go with some combination of Salazar, Clevinger, and Tomlin, and then save Bauer to back up Kluber in case he sucks again.
I think I'd go with Salazar, who was fantastic in his last start of the season, and have Bauer ready to head to the pen, but...
Bauer loves to pitch, and is allowed a bit higher pitch count than the rest of the staff. He was probably bugging Tito to let him go warm up in the 13-inning game. Salazar is obviously available, as is Clevinger, and I'd assume Tomlin can go as well, since he pitched two easy innings on Friday... so Tito is going to have a quick hook.

WTF? Disagree completely. Bauer should give them 4-5, then go Tomlin and/or Salazar, then, ideally, Miller and Allen.
Worst case, you go back home with Kluber on full rest.

I'm not sure there will be a game tonight so Bauer may wind up pitching on regular rest anyway.

Yes. Power guys and batters that don't chase as much bad crap as we do. VERY annoying.
The MFYs won´t win this series. But beware, we will hear all winter about 1995 and how that team became the best team on 96-00 and that now, with all their HGH loaded batters they will be even better. Long live the Pats and Bruins till April.
