If Cowboys can come down and score a TD here they also get the ball in second half.

They can still make it a game if the defense decides to ever show up.

why can’t that hands to the face be 5 yards and replay down? Nfl rules are whacked

Totally changed the complextion of this game.
Because it’s a safety rule. Defender has to be more disciplined than that in a 3rd and 14 spot.

Really poor showing by the secondary on the TD run too — how does no one take a decent line?

barely touched him, you get much worse infractions on both sides of the DL/OL 50% of the time. No other call is selectively called as hands to the face, it is worse than holding.
Chris Jones literally held the facemask of an IND OL with both hands on one of the first plays of the game and didn't get flagged.

Imagine being a Cowboys fan who actually wants Kris Richard as the head coach. He sucks just as much as the rest of the boobs in charge of this franchise.

If the home officiating continues tomorrow Pats win by 10. I'm afraid they will feel the blowback and over correct.

Once people realize that he's a Blake Bortles clone they'll stop being surprised when he sucks
I catch a lot of shit around here for it, but I've been railing against Prescott all season.

In case you were wondering, I'm not surprised he sucks tonight because I think he sucks in general.

The story of the first half is the Rams o-line totally fucking mauling the Cowboy defense. Not the refs.

Responding to these late to say:

I think NFL would most like to see Mahomes vs Brady in AFCCG with KC prevailing and then a track meet game against the Saints/Rams in the SB. Mahomes is the key.
Always weird to remember that in the NFL two small markets in Kansas City and New Orleans would still be good from a ratings perspective, because the audience for the Super Bowl is basically an "event" audience more than a sports audience, like for the Academy Awards. It’ll be a bit above 100 million no matter who’s playing.

Great big game feel with these uniforms and the Coliseum at night.
Agreed. NFL has some really great uniforms: I love the Bears, Giants, Steelers, 49ers, Raiders, Colts, Chiefs, Eagles, Chargers.

Patriots are growing on me, too, although they still don't feel quite iconic, y'know?

These playoffs have pretty much sucked.

The Eagles-Bears game was bad football. The Ravens-Chargers game had some late drama, but it was a meh game. Seahawks-Cowboys was really the only good game so far.
