Honestly a tiny bit disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, fuck philly, but I would’ve liked another shot at Napoleon Dynamite and the Battery Bombers.

Go f*ck yourself
Condolences to AR and our other resident eagle fans. That was a nut punch.

They had ~30 yards to pay dirt and rush a play before the 2 min warning... for what??!! To be fair and make sure NO had enough time to respond? Wtf

Adios Iggles.

Adios Folsie.

One and done, good luck wherever you land next year, just make sure you bring your horseshoe with you.

Perfect football day; Patriots win, Iggles lose in nut punch fashion.

We know better than anybody that flags fly forever but there’s something satisfying about the level of resilience the Pats show after big losses. Like “We lost the Super Bowl? Oh well, back to work!” We’re going to our 8th straight conference championship game while they just shot themselves in the foot.

Next week:

NE: #4 points offense, #5 yds offense; #7 points defense, #21 yds defense
KC: #1 points offense, #1 yds offense; #24 points defense, #31 yds defense
LA: #2 points offense, #2 yds offense; #20 points defense, #19 yds defense
NO: #3 points offense, #8 yds offense; #14 points defense, #14 yds defense

The four highest scoring teams in the NFL face off (#4 vs #1, #2 vs #3). But only one defense ranks in the top 10 in terms of points allowed (NE). Projects to a TON of points being scored next weekend. Of course, that means it will probably be two low-scoring slugfests. Heh.

Crazy. Both over/unders are 57. NFL has to LOVE this.

Ingram was 9 for 71 (5.9) today and Kamara was 16 for 71 (4.4)
Ingram had 9 for 53 yards, and 36 came on one carry, so he had 17 on his other 8 carries. But that's not even the right way of looking at it. You have to look at Ingram's carries and try to figure out what Kamara would have done with the same opportunities. I guarantee he gets more than 53 yards on those same 9 carries. He does everything faster, harder, quicker than Ingram. He's just a better runner.

New Orleans doesn’t have to play outdoors again this season and Atlanta is the farthest they would have to travel.
Sure, but you could have said that on December 18 prior to two regular season home games to end the season. Everything is lined up very well for them.

To do what this team has done the last 18 years is incredible, we're truly blessed as fans.

I'm a glass half full fan, but they've got a mountain to climb next week between Mahomes and his crazy throws, his ability to scramble, the weapons at his disposal, the insane level of crowd noise they will have to deal with and most importantly, ref ball in full effect.

Regardless of the outcome, as a fan this team owes me nothing.

As great as 2014 vs the Seahawks and 2016 vs the Falcons were, if they go to KC and win and then knock off either the Saints or the Rams, this one would have to rank as #2 for me behind 2001 vs the Rams, the first SB win will always the favorite for me considering where this team came from the previous 41 years.

All 4 underdogs had a majority of money wagered bet on them this weekend, for the first time ever.

Vegas getting richer.

Just as with any fan base there are some good and some bad. I would suggest that any Eagle fan that would root against Andy Reid in a non-Eagle Super Bowl falls in to the bad category. And keep in mind that if the Eagle fan base as a whole voted on best Eagle coach of all time I'm pretty sure that Buddy Ryan and his 0-3 playoff record would win in a landslide over Vermeil, Reid and Pederson. That says a lot about Eagle fans...
Ryan was popular because they thought he was one of them. As far as best coach he has dropped down the list. Even to his biggest fans. Reid to me proved he was the best but the great majority say Pederson because he won and Foles over McNabb, lol as the best QB. It's all about winning now to them. Look.......die hard Red Sox fan that I am I was very disappointed at Sox fans cheers for former players at Fenways 100th Anniversary in 2012. Kevin Millar got a bigger ovation then Dewey and almost as big as Yaz. It's all about titles with this generation not your favorite players.

Why would Evans be your favorite player if you're part of "this generation"? I'm 40 and only caught the tail end of his career, most of the current generation never saw him play. I was 4 when Yaz retired and don't have a single memory of him playing. Meanwhile I can vividly recall certain plate appearances Millar made as part of a transformative moment in my life and the lives of those around me.

In other words, I know Millar isn't the player the other two were, but he'd probably get the loudest cheer from me too.

I don't believe the whole crowd that day were generation Xers and Millennials.I believe the baseball crowd that day was mostly Baby Boomers(I'm 61 now) and Generation Xers. A mix of younger people too. The point is even people of my generation cheered more for Millar. That's what kind of bothered me a little. Obviously Dewey was a far greater player then Millar but the way it is today people seem to care more about who won you titles then better individual players. And even though you were 4 when Yaz retired you should know his name as the 2nd best player post ww2 next to Ted Williams. Granted Ortiz is right there also but Yaz was a gold glove outfielder. Tony C will always be my favorite all time player no matter how many rings other players have. I never saw Ted Or Bobby Doerr or Pesky or Jimmy Foxx but I know my Sox history and would give them huge ovations had they been there or at old timers games.

20 points allowed to the Saints at their dome is the best you could hope for. disappointing not to win that
The final score was a little misleading because the game was short - NO had only 10 possessions (typical: ~11.5) and they weren't even trying to score on the last one. NO had the ball four times in the second half and put together an 11 1/2-minute TD drive to take the lead, two drives that ended in FG attempts, and the final drive that killed the clock and ended the game. Saints only scored 10 points in the second half but they were dominant. (Meanwhile, the Eagles also only had 10 possessions and one was a kneel-down to end the first half)

What Eagle player went up to Parkey after the FG miss last week? Anyway, I hope some Saints rubbed it in yesterday.
