Paul George with an all world 4 point play to win it. For some reason, Philly puts the ball in Simmons hands, who can't shoot from deep, so he has to give it up at the last second and Butler didn't have a great look.

OKC late game offense probably shouldn't be one of the worst mid/long range shooters in the NBA taking jump shots, it's basically like if last years Smart was taking a million jump shots a game
And if last year's Smart were a way worse shooter.

PG13: 40 minutes
Grant: 34 minutes
RWB: 37 minutes (would have been 39 if he didn't foul out)
Adams: 36 minutes
Ferguson: 29 minutes

Schroder: 25 minutes (only guy off the bench with more than 14 minutes)

That's what you need to do to win big games on the road in the NBA, IMO. Play your best players.

Russ has never been a good shooter, but it's really amazing how bad he's been this year. 24% for 3 (30% career) 64% FT (81% career) and about 35% midrange. His mid range game makes Giannis look like a sniper. Basically every shot he takes outside of 3 feet is a terrible shot.

I saw Simmons bringing the ball up the court at the end, and my first thought was, "Now he's going to be forced to shoot a 3." Nope! That lack-of-shot selection is going to magnify the heat he's taking for this, methinks.

Yeah he had an open unrushed three for the win.and passed it awkwardly to Butler to take a rushed double-teamed three. He probably shouldn't be on the floor in those situations.

No, no, you see he was ready to take the 3, until he saw Butler had a better shot:
Tim Bontemps: Ben Simmons says he was ready to pull up for what would’ve been a potential game-winning three on the final play before he saw Jimmy Butler’s man sag off him, and got him the ball instead.

Reporter: Are you & Embiid cool?
Westbrook: “F**K NO!”

Lakers up 15 on the Rockets in the third, 69-54. Kuzma leading the way with 26, no other Laker in double digits.

Damn, Lonzo had to be helped off the court after crashing into a defender. Hope he’s ok.

It must just be a coincidence that Brandon Ingram is garbage only when I watch him play. People seem to think he is not terrible so it must happen during those other games.

No Drummond tonight, so Detroit has to play Zaza 35 minutes. Yes, that Zaza. And that was coming off 28 minutes last night.

Talk about getting some luck in scheduling Sacramento.

Just saw Doncic's ejection. Got his first T for arguing a call early on. Then after a timeout was called, the ball was bouncing in front of him, and he gave a halfhearted kick and kicked it into the stands. Didn't really even seem like he was that upset. Seemed to catch him off guard that he could get ejected for it, as he was kind of smiling as he walked off the court.

Ball on way to hospital for x-rays, the on-site machine is not working.

Zubac needs to get a little more aware of his surroundings with the ball in his hands. It's like he doesn't understand that NBA defenders are fast.

Any time Houston gets upset with the refs, regardless of whether or not it's warranted, I just can't side with them. 50% of their offense is predicated on James Harden taking advantage of the rules.

To be fair, Ingram’s gone to the line a couple times in the fourth on some egregiously bad calls.

The league is overall in a great place right now, with tremendous talent all over, great pace of play, compelling personalities and narratives - but the officiating is embarrassing.

If you get free and catch it, throw it up in the air as high as you can. By the time it comes down, game over. Don't hold it and take the foul.

Credit to Houston, they didn’t force the ball to Harden and Gordon hit a tough, tough shot.

Are you an LA fan? Eric Gordon is a good player.
Not an LA fan, but I generally root for the underdog in situations like this, and I dislike Harden's game so much that I have trouble rooting for Houston ever.

Gordon's been dreadful from 3 this year.

You don’t like Harden? Please elaborate.
