They did that with Manoah in last year's game too. That one was better because Manoah had more of a personality.
Normally I don't like all those in-game interviews during game action, but for the ASG it kinda works.
In 100 years there will be some advanced audio capturing/transmitting device, and our descendants will look back at this game and laugh at all the wires players are wrapped up in.
I totally get that. We get the Dodgers on our cable package, I've seen him a lot this year. Justin Turner for JD, I'm still cool with it.
I just turned on the game and felt like I was having a seizure with all the… whatever was going on on my TV.

His slg would be nice, but 255/303 screams "cheating for the HR 100% of the time."
JD started 35 games in the OF in 2021, but was not able to play a single inning in the field last year. He's played 12 innings in the field this year. Basically been a DH only for 2 years.
Turner can play third and first, playing the field and letting other guys DH is something we really need. JD has belted 22 HRs so far. So it's been a good "trade" for both teams.

At the stadium? Probably a few thousand? But that's it. Nice souvenir for kids at the park whose parents love throwing money away. I personally know a family that I bet is all decked out in them right now.
