$5, $10, $20?I'd do a lot of goddamn degrading things in order for the Pats to win Thursday
Even with vicodin there are some people who'd be out and foggy/loopy all day and others who barely feel it. Some who love it, some who barely feel it, and some who hate it.Really? That stuff makes me a little goofy.
Vicodin does almost nothing for me. I mean, it helps a bit, but not to the extent it alters my state and not noticeably more than anything otc. I've gotten scripts for it for dental work a few times, a couple physical injuries and a few times for nasty cases of strep/bronchitis (as opposed to codeine cough syrup which is more expensive if your insurance sucks) and I've barely ever touched it. To reference the pharm thread i probably need to throw some out because I have about eight-ten bottles of it that I've never even touched and the other day found two scripts I never even got filled. To your pint i know people that refuse it no matter what because they hate it or it constipates them.Even with vicodin there are some people who'd be out and foggy/loopy all day and others who barely feel it. It's mostly about long-term consequences, so it applies to regular people, not to NFL players, but yes there is a debate on cortisone shots. Is that a one-time thing? It seems like there's a debate on cortisone shots - my sister told me not to have a second in my shoulder, my actual doctor was fine with it. What's the research on marcaine?

I'm with you on this, opioids have never really made me anything but drowsy. I do get scripts filled because they come in handy during my occasional nightmarish bouts of insomnia. I learned that lesson the hard way when I had no percs or vics during a 13 day stretch when I was sleeping 15-30 minutes a day (the awful part was that by the time I reached the hallucination stage I was flashing back to a bad college acid trip).Vicodin does almost nothing for me. I believe that a tweet was posted in the game thread (maybe Ian Rapoport?) saying that the Pats were rushing to get Edelman ready to be the emergency QB option.Did the thread title get changed because of news about Edelman at QB? I'm not seeing any mention of Edelman the last page and a half and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
back in the day I would have broken inI'm headed over. I can throw it out for you.
@mascho: I haven't seen anything so technically interesting published in the sports pages of legit journalism in a long time.@mascho with a piece for the Washington Post on what remains the same in the Pats offense moving from Brady to Jimmy G / Brissett, and what is different:

Just 'cause it has the same mechanism of action doesn't mean that it has the same effects. You are a lightweight then dude, it's injectable motrin.
YesAnyone think we will see a few snaps of an Edelman-led Wildcat offense?
Yes, that was fantastic.@mascho: I haven't seen anything so technically interesting published in the sports pages of legit journalism in a long time.
Belichick using the media for Houston to prepare for Brissett and the option of possibly Edelman.......so Jimmy G is a go then right?I believe that a tweet was posted in the game thread (maybe Ian Rapoport?) saying that the Pats were rushing to get Edelman ready to be the emergency QB option.

Why though?
Well they are different as vioxx was cox2 selective.Just 'cause it has the same mechanism of action doesn't mean that it has the same effects.
Just ask those poor fools who took Vioxx.
I'm willing to admit it was psychosomatic or I was just drowsy from being in an er at 3 am.Well they are different as vioxx was cox2 selective.
15mg toradol iv is the same as 800 mg ibuprofen po.
Im with doc. Which is easy to say since marciano cant kick my ass cross country. I think
Now, where did I put that list?I'd do a lot of goddamn degrading things in order for the Pats to win Thursday
Maybe on some pain relief scale, but it's still not the same. It's a dihydropyrrolizine, which none of the oral NSAIDs are, and has an extra phenyl group compared to ibuprofen. And all the NSAIDs have varyling levels of cox2 selectivity.Well they are different as vioxx was cox2 selective.

pharmacology is a cut rate service, i'll take $0.12 please.Whoa! Check out the big brain on Devizier!
Got ya. Ok. I meant vioxx cox2 only where as nsaids do both cox1 and 2. But thank you, I blocked orgo and chemical structures from my brain.Maybe on some pain relief scale, but it's still not the same. Well, it's almost completely useless so you're not missing a whole lot.Got ya. Ok. I meant vioxx cox2 only where as nsaids do both cox1 and 2. But thank you, I blocked orgo and chemical structures from my brain.
