My brother and I got a subscription as a Christmas gift, but the first issue didn't come until March. So we got the Miracle On Ice cover to start. I was almost 12 at the time. My mother kept the issues coming long after I left the house in 1990, so I don't know when she stopped the subscription. It is possible that she was still receiving SI when UConn won their first NCAA title in 1999.
