Honestly, they stopped hitting - the mets have 1 double in the entire WS, and a .215 average. They've hit a couple HRs, but when no-one's getting on, it doesn't do much
 
Bullpen's been predictably bad, but they hit (and basically were able to skip the terrible bullpen pieces) in the NLDS and hit very well in the NLCS.

I picked the Mets, I rooted for the Mets (KC had their shot last year), but I give it up for the Royals. Ned's deal with the devil expires in about 5 minutes, and their window is closing rapidly before Minnesota and Cleveland take over that division. The Mets will be back again.
 
But this was a great series to watch.

Won't argue that point but they've looked like utter shit in every single big moment this series. Bad time to fall flat on their face. I do think the Royals are the better team based on this series, but I also think the Mets are better than this.
