We should start a movement called NoMore.net where we protest the abuse the NFL heaps upon us during Wild Card Weekend.

Have never looked forward more to a pool report. Hopefully Pete Morelli will explain the pickup of the DPI flag.

By the way, because Im not sure.   Can Bryant come running on the field with his helmet off yelling at the refs when they called the PI?  Im not sure, but thought that was a penalty

It's rare that I'm with Borges, but this is outstanding

@RonBorges: Suh should step on an official on the way off the field

No, he most certainly can not.

Should have been unsportsmanlike conduct

It wasn't a flag. It was a Terrible Towel tossed on the field by a Steelers fan.

not looking forward to going on the road basically in case we make the Superbowl.  We're going to be outnumbered unless somehow the Panthers pull a miracle twice.

I'm going to go with "miscommunication on the announcement being made, judgment call on the initial flag being picked up"

What will make it worse is that some frustrated Lions player will be fined for his reaction to the reversed call

Yeah. I think the guy threw the flag but was going to ask for help and the ref made the call too quickly.

However, that still means when he got help someone told him to pick up flag. Perhaps due to the facemask by Pettigrew.

Now I remember why I don't like Dallas. I hope the Packers eat them alive and then blast Jones and his platform off into the phantom zone.

Maybe Gov Christie can drop in on NJ sometime and hug the folks who are still waiting for Sandy funds

DeMarcus Lawrence: "whew"In related news, someone may want to let Chris Christie know he's not winning the Michigan primary.

If Caldwell had any balls (which he does not, because the right move after that reversal is to react a lot more than he did to force the officials to own the call fully and explain it to at least the coaches) he'd really light it up in the postgame press conference and dare the league to fine him and extend the story---which I suspect they would not.

If so, whoever did that should get fired because that's not how the rules works--they'd get the down back if that were the call.

Assuming honest dealings in Dallas (Yeah, I know}, perhaps the over-riding official missed the same thing that I missed which was the defender grabbing the receiver's right arm as the ball approached.

Christie, absolutely, indisputably, absolutely, definitely humps Jerry Jones leg right as the director cut to the crowd shot. You see two humps.
I said to my wife "that looks a lot like what I try to pull with you on a nightly basis". Excluding the 300 lb wight difference, of course.

Yeah, I think he blew it by not forcing the issue at the time.  Saying something after the fact doesn't accomplish anything - they're not going to change the call, the Lions still lose, he'd probably be fined the week after the Super Bowl when no one cares, and he's not going to produce a productive change in officiating by protesting one call.

I'm done, there's too much stupid in this game (not the thread, just the game); talking about it makes my head hurt more. G'night everyone.
