I'll be on the West Coast. Any recommendations of a place to go to watch the game? (I assume this is a national broadcast).

Sonny's is the classic Boston bar in Santa Monica, it will be crowded. If you want to be closer to beach, Barney's Beanery on 3rd Street Promenade is solid. I've been in the OC 'burbs now for 10 years, so that's all I got.

Stout has a helluva burger, and would be a good place from my memory

If you want the Boston crowd, Sonny's. Otherwise, every bar will have the game on. Barney's is a great option if you're just generally looking for TVs, lots of food options, etc.

Sonny's and Barney's are two great picks, and both in/close to Santa Monica's. To throw another out there for future reference of anyone looking back on this thread, The Garage on Motor Avenue in nearby Culver City is pretty spacious, owned by a Sox fan, and usually attracts a Boston-leaning crowd.

Sonny's will be the most Patriots leaning crowd in the area if that's what you're looking for. Still has tons of Boston stuff on the walls but it's been re-done and a bit more generic than it used to be. TV situation improved at least.

Hasn't been as crowded this year as the Brady years (though more full than the Cam year!). I've been been to maybe 5 games there this year and been able to typically get a seat showing up right as the game starts or at halftime. Still mostly full and loud for the game... but not lines out the door, needing to show up 2 hours early, etc.

Saturday night and playoffs probably means it'll be crowded though as it's usually fairly busy on a Sat night at baseline.
