She's way better than McGuire. She knows her stuff and doesn't feel the need to show you how smart she is like Pierre does.I've mentioned this before, but Mleczko does a nice job- her percentage of useful observations is pretty high.
Even though she jumps in just as often (if not more), I think this is exactly why she comes off so well. She's way better than McGuire. She knows her stuff and doesn't feel the need to show you how smart she is like Pierre does.
I was thinking the same thing. For us it’s just a hell of a hockey game.Christ I'm happy to be a neutral here. I'd be throwing up were I a fan of one of these teams.
Oh I was 100% one of themI remember a lot of people pooh-poohed that pick. It looks pretty damn smart now
Columbus gave up a 1st and 2nd so the Knights would take him instead of some other guys, it appears they may have miscalculated. But also you can thank the massive expansion draft changes. How is a player like Karlsson available in an expansion draft?
I have a feeling that the player pool available to Seattle is actually going to be better than the one available to Vegas, considering that they are paying $650 million to join the league as compared to the $500 million Vegas paid. Whether or not Seattle's GM does as good a job building the team as McPhee did is another story. For sure, but the sentiment conveyed by Friedman, Kypreos, et. al., is that GMs felt like they were burned in the process, so none of that for Seattle. ‘Course, all it takes is one GM to do something stupid unilaterally (looking your way, Peter), and that’ll go out the window.
They're the anti-Browns. A team that had no expectations on the horizon is now 4 wins from the Stanley Cup Final. This is as insane of a sports story in recent memory. Think of the performances of expansion teams in other sports then look at what Vegas is doing. I'm rooting for them now.
