Coach Bud 10-17 in the playoffs after the first round.
Being an NBA coach is to a good degree about managing the talent, but you can be bad enough at the rest for it to matter. Coach Bud seems a bit like Andy Reid.

Spo doesn’t get enough credit for being a young relative nobody coach and surviving LeBron.

Though you do get the sense he is Pat Riley’s favorite son and was likely protected.
Riley's one of the few GMs who could tell Lebron to STFU about the coach.

Was the tv feed just muted because the “get live muthafucka” part of Who Shot Ya? was playing in the arena? Lol.

Doris is generally very good. I think announcing in the bubble with no crowd is probably not so easy. They feed off that energy just like the players do, so it may lead to some moments that feel forced.

I should be more clear on my post earlier. I love Doris as an announcer. My only gripe with her is that she generally sides with the refs, no matter how horrible the call is. The last minute of tonight's game was an exception to that, and a very good one, IMO. But there were a whole bunch of other calls tonight that were egregious that she didn't do the same. Perhaps I'm biased because I've been listening to Tommy for decades, and he calls it like it is, as does Gorman, but I think Doris is good enough, and has enough cache now that she's doesn't need to carry their water as much as she does.

Harden laying another egg here in a Game 7. Gordon, Covington and Westbrook trying to bail him out.

Harden is playing like he is drunk and Lou Dort has been the best player on the court by a wide margin.

Austin Rivers missing three straight three pointers and a breakaway dunk. Meanwhile, an undrafted former two way player is trying to become an OKC folk hero

The constant complaining about the refs is my least favorite thing about the Port Cellar.
Yeah the game threads are like the looters after a peaceful protest discussion on what kind of impact Javonte Green can have. I try to stay clear and be home when the street lights go on.

Harden missing shots is one thing, but his just standing around dribbling the air out of the ball every other possession is so tiresome. He acts like a player holding for a last shot or trying to run clock, only we’re in the third quarter of a tight game.

Can’t believe Eric Gordon is only 31. Dude has had the old man body since he was like 24.

Harden refusing to take shots or drive the lane and continually passing back to RoCo behind the arc = "making plays." Okay. Looks when he keeps making 'em.

Covington is the series MVP if the Rockets pull this out.
