Just wanted to point out how much more individually talented the Saints roster looked than the Patriots'. For a team that people always use as an example of "what, you want them to just splurge on cash spending and end up like New Orleans???" this one sure seemed like a blow to the theory that fiscal responsibility is the way to go. If the down side to spending like a drunken sailor is having that roster (who has also won more games than the Pats since 2020), sign me the fuck up.
The Saints aren’t even good and yet they have at least 5 guys on offense that are better than anyone on the Pats O.

Yes, and that's not even counting the quarterback, who's meh but also better than the one you have. Also, Peat didn't play and there's another guy better than your guys. And the defense is good. It's just a good roster in general that coaching pulls down. But noooo can't spend money, you wanna end up like the Saints and have to let every good player go?? Why, yes, thank you.

If the Pats want to have any kind of a season, they need to win this one. I tend to think they will but the Vegas spread (Pats -1) correctly reflects that it's a bit of a toss up.

Go Pats.

Don't suck.
I had a simple directive.

Oh, and no more game threads for me.
