I recall the Giants some decades back making a rare decision to wear their white uniforms at the Meadowlands to force Dallas into their blue uniforms.
Right. The Dolphins notoriously have a tendency to exploit the South Florida heat by wearing their white unis at home to force the visiting team to play in their solid colors.

feels like Goff could have just continued his run to the outside instead of forcing the ball back into traffic

Eh, the rule doesn't bother me. The duty is on the offense to execute and take care of the ball.

Campbell is so fun. He is going to get burned so bad in a big spot but he sure is pretty consistent.

So many "momentum changes" in last 5 minutes that maybe momentum ain't really a thing.

Lamb about to score--NO!!! Momentum change to Lions!
Lions to punt--Momentum change to Cowboys!
Fake punt!--Momentum change to Lions!
4th and goal stop--Momentum change to Cowboys!

You can say that about any play. Obviously it's not a good play by the offense to fumble the ball, but the punitive nature of the rule is entirely nonsensical and has nothing to do with how the game is usually played.

If you want to punish a team for fumbling forward out of the end zone beyond just giving them the ball back at spot of the fumble (like the rest of the field), you could make them go back to the 20 yard line. Even that is kind of absurd...but it's a lot less absurd than giving the ball to the OTHER team.

It makes less than zero sense. It's like a rule book typo no one bothered to correct and they're still inexplicably following.

Going for the TD there.... questionable call.

Running the clock after penalties like delay of game is another really stupid rule. So, you don’t get the snap off, so you “delayed” the game. So we are going to run the clock to the two minute warning, and so now there is no play at all but a commercial. That will show them!

Is it ok if a person gives zero fucks about this ring of honor bullshit? I am fine with those who are into it, but would like permission not give a fuck please.

I feel like if the rumors about the late 80s early 90s Cowboys players were accurate (especially at their training camp outside fo LA), it should be called the Line Of Honor.

Johnson looks pretty damn good for 80

I root against the cowboys but that was pretty cool. Love him or hate em, Jerry jones has made it into a monster brand / franchise. The nfl benefits greatly from such tradition
