The rest of the game plays out completely differently if they kick the field goalNot kicking the field goal killed them. They win if they did and I hate that I am saying that.

Because this place is more predictable than the 3-0 automatic strikeHow the fuck are people blaming this on Mac?
His coach cost them three points; the refs cost them at least another three with the Henry hold call.Average QB wins this game.
Yeah you nailed it …This reminds me a lot of a couple other Mac JOnes losses.... just couldn't get the big play
Little mistakes did them in yet again. It’s hard to see them turning that corner. It just isn’t happening.encouraging performance? I think?
Because most NFL receivers get the feet in at this pointSurprised the refs even called catch.
For Christ sake, Mac did some incredibly dumb shit in the first quarter. But he was at least average today.Average QB wins this game.
I agree but it’s hard to say this. Every situation, field position, etc plays out differently if they kick it. There’s no telling if we get the ball at the end because the Eagles come up short on a 4th.Not kicking the field goal killed them. They win if they did and I hate that I am saying that.
Because he sucks? Mediocre QB at best. Will never be lead a team to the promised land. How the fuck are people blaming this on Mac?
So many plays change if it goes to 5 points there, it’s tough to say.Not kicking the field goal killed them. They win if they did and I hate that I am saying that.
sometimes it’s otherworldly.Bookmakers are really good.
Absolutely but there are many on here that will twist themselves into a pretzel to somehow put the loss on Him.Mac haters need to STFU. He answered the bell today against one of the best teams in the NFL.
Boutte couldn't get his feet down on two massive plays that any receiver should be able to make in the NFL, Bourne dropped a massive third down conversion. Mac completely outplayed Hurts today.Average QB wins this game.
This exactly.I knew not kicking that field goal earlier would come back to bite them. That decision was giving me AFCCG in Denver vibes.
VERY encouraging performance. Again, they were nut punched in the first 10 minutes, down 16-0 and looking like they were going to get absolutely rolled. They hung in there, got the offense going, and had a chance at the end to win it. Against one of the best teams in the NFL.encouraging performance? I think?
You are right, but I hope you are wrong.Little mistakes did them in yet again. It’s hard to see them turning that corner. It just isn’t happening.
Mac balled out today. Fought till the end.Because he sucks? Mediocre QB at best. Will never be lead a team to the promised land.
Yeah I don’t get it. I’ve been hammering Mac as much as anyone in this thread, and I can honestly say he impressed me how he played after those first 3 drives. How the fuck are people blaming this on Mac?
He wasn’t fine. He was very good. But very predictable response.Mac was fine. He made good plays, he made some bad ones, he got good protection throughout, but was let down by his receivers at times. This game is not on him at all, but I don't think it's all that encouraging either. It was okay.
the protection was not good at all. Ball came out fast all day. Anytime he really needed time he didn’t get itMac was fine. He made good plays, he made some bad ones, he got good protection throughout, but was let down by his receivers at times. This game is not on him at all, but I don't think it's all that encouraging either. It was okay.
At the end of the day they had a shit ton of drives and great field position all game and came up with 20 points. It is what it is.
Yep. And of course Philly's K nailed a kick from a mile away, and then made another long one after hitting the upright. In the stats are for losers department:I knew not kicking that field goal earlier would come back to bite them. That decision was giving me AFCCG in Denver vibes.
The first 3 drives were putridYeah I don’t get it. I’ve been hammering Mac as much as anyone in this thread, and I can honestly say he impressed me how he played after those first 3 drives.
He impressed the hell out of me. And that last pass was really good.Yeah I don’t get it. I’ve been hammering Mac as much as anyone in this thread, and I can honestly say he impressed me how he played after those first 3 drives.
This seems like a recurring theme. For whatever reason, they just can’t score points.Mac was fine. He made good plays, he made some bad ones, he got good protection throughout, but was let down by his receivers at times. This game is not on him at all, but I don't think it's all that encouraging either. It was okay.

Because too many Pats fans have only watched Tom Brady for the last 20 years. How the fuck are people blaming this on Mac?
I think his very good games have looked a lot better than this, but okay.He wasn’t fine. He was very good. But very predictable response.
You can hope it was because it was the first 3 drives of the year. The first 3 drives were putrid
You can’t ignore them
Overall he was average because that pick 6 was a 10-17 point swing. But, last drive he has Boutte wide open for an easy NFL QB TD and doesn’t make the play. Pats are gonna need a QB who makes these throws in big moments. Averageish seems about right at this point in time, but not a guy you’re giving a QB contract to.Mac haters need to STFU. He answered the bell today against one of the best teams in the NFL.
Again, outside Henry, he does not have a reliable receiver to make plays. Tua looks amazing because he has Hill and Waddle. How many times do we need to see another failed fourth quarter comeback drive before Mac starts to get some of the blame?
To be clear, I don’t think he played badly, but he has shown an inability to make the big play/drive when it counts. One or two games you can chalk that up to other players/luck/coaching but at a certain point you just have to execute.
C'mon, he's not God.Absolutely but there are many on here that will twist themselves into a pretzel to somehow put the loss on Him.
