I got offered a free ticket to this game, but it's my son's brithday (too young to take him to the game), so I won't be there. Damnit.

Yeah, I've already had the "what the fuck are you thinking even asking this question after you've been gone for three weeks?" conversation with my wife.  I drive back home on Friday, my kid's in "Daddy's coming home for my birthday!" mode.  It was a short, blunt conversation.

I don't expect Abs to have any issues in the student section.  Auburn fans tend to not get too militant about Arkansas, even when sufficiently lubricated, in my experience.

By the way, this site is by far the most thorough and comprehensive weekly listing of CFB broadcasts anywhere (and has been for years), including national and regional outlets. The only drawback is that it's run by LSU fans so all listings are for the Central Time Zone.
 
Including the streaming-only contests, there are 24 games to watch tonight. I'd love me some Reinhardt @ Mercer awesomeness, but I'm not sure I'll be able to tear myself away from Kentucky Christian-Tennessee Tech.

The Navy football team will be wearing special "Summer Whites" uniforms Saturday when the Midshipmen take on fifth-ranked Ohio State, the school announced today.
 
The uniform, designed by Under Armour, is inspired by the Navy's Summer Whites military uniform, the school said in a news release.

I was a bit surprised by the pre-season ranking of South Carolina. Based on a returning O-line, a QB with limited experience, and Mike Davis? The secondary was decimated, Clowney, Quarles, Hampton, and Conner Shaw all gone. And honestly Shaw wasn't just good, he was great for them. Kept drives alive, rallied those guys, made plays with his legs. The guy was the guts of that team. He's gone and it showed. 
 
I actually heard a guy on TV say that with Clowney gone the D would be better because the distraction wasn't around anymore. Kenny Hill was 27-35 in the first half, a distraction was what the Cocks needed. 
 
In any event, football is back baby!

He enters his senior season with his team moving to a full FBS schedule in CUSA with almost 11,500 passing yards and will likely finish it in the top 5 passing yards all-time for any D1 QB regardless of classification. Oh, and he's a mechanical engineering major.
