Anyone tried this?

Looks like Uber has organized themselves a bit on this:

Leaving the Game
  • When you’re ready to request your pickup, simply exit via the uBid.com Gate the South Side of Gillette Stadium and follow the signs to the Uber Pickup Zone.
  • Please note that there will be a $5.00 Stadium Surcharge* for each trip taken from the Gillette Stadium area.
Pickup is by the Trader Joes / Bass Pro shop, so it seems like it could take forever to get north back to Boston.

I want to go to the Ravens game, but neither my buddy nor I want to drive (more because of fatigue by midnight rather than drunkeness, but whatever), so looking for non-driving options. Yeah, I know the MBTA train is an option, but I feel like it always takes forever after night games.

You don't have to go to the Uber lot to get a ride. In fact, it's usually the worst option for you as an individual as you can end up in the middle of the high "surge" zone (which can get pretty high after a game), behind all of the traffic, and possibly without a usable cell phone due to congestion. Walk in the direction you want to go and have the nearest Uber pick you up when you get a surge price low enough for your liking. Also, download Lyft too and price shop - their surge rates won't be at the same level and will fluctuate pretty dramatically over time.

Or if you don't want to deal with all of that, go with another option.
