It means the same thing more or less. It's one step if you use Google translate though

These updates are becoming more specific. They are either totally made up or the RS offices are bugged.

Or now that the front office knows people are following this kid the source is using him for leverage like they do with every other reporter at this time of year.

They should at least restore his 10-5 clock back to where it was in July.

Edit: Oh crap he sucked me in.

Chris Cotillo seems like he's kind of butt hurt by this kid. He's telling people to watch who they're believing and calling Bradford a respected writer who said earlier today that Lester and the Sox aren't close.

Now we wait for the MSM to go bat shit crazy trying to confirm or deny his sources. The longer it goes without hearing from them the

the weird thing about this is that if this kid has a source, and no one else does - it would make it pretty easy for the Red Sox FO to figure out who was leaking, assuming they cared about keeping things internal.

If Lester signs, screw what I said in the other thread. The Sox are going straight Oprah this off season. "You get $20 mil, and you get $20 mil, EVERYONE GETS $20 MIL!!!"

My source has told me that the only hold up is what kind of Pizza Jon Lester wants. Hanley's agents are holding out for Pizza Hut stuffed crust but Lester is adamant on Santarpios.

So Hanley is reported in town, as is Sandoval.  Now we have news that Lester is imminent.

Is everyone hanging with Papi, eating Pizza, waiting for the trade to consummate?  They're going to have to move 3 bodies to make all these deals official.

Unless Lester himself instructs otherwise, you would think the Levinson brothers would now try to see if they can get a 7 year offer from Cubs or NYY to take back to Ben.

Real question, if he wants 7 years, would you give him 8 and do 8/150/155 to keep it at 18-19 per?  Or just try to keep the sum low?

If the report is true that the Sox have offered him deals of 4, 5, and 6 years then it's clear that they would rather have the shortest duration possible.

That would be my preference as well given how precipitous a pitcher's decline can be as the miles pile up on his arm.

I don't understand this take it by Wed. or we're done strategy.  If they want to look at other options and pull the offer if they do something else I get that.  But in the meantime why give an ultimatum?
