Actually my sense of direction is really good. Ability to predict things, not so much. I rarely win a god damned coin toss.I'm actually that way with directions

I have a feeling that the bet would then be considered my real prediction and I would subsequently lose. My ability to be incorrect is diabolical. You should predict something in your mind then bet on the opposite.
But if every prediction you've ever had is wrong, then the opposite would have to be right.I have a feeling that the bet would then be considered my real prediction and I would subsequently lose. My ability to be incorrect is diabolical.
Hoping so. I think this injury has shown who is the most valuable player is on defense. Need him at 100%Hightower on now with the WEEI mid-day show, so that's an unofficial good sign.
They should be able to take advantage of a one armed Chris harris.
Good thing he doesn't play baseball. He'd be out for 3 months.Mike Loyko @NEPD_Loyko 3m3 minutes ago
ICYMI: I'm told Jamie Collins has a strained oblique muscle. He'll miss some practice time, but as of now he plans to suit up on Sunday.
Belichick could put Venus de Milo in at CB and he wouldn't concede an arm injury.Chris Harris, according to Gary Kubiak, will play but is "playing with one arm".
Probably still has a tender oblique from all the retching back when he had the ebolas.Mike Loyko @NEPD_Loyko 3m3 minutes ago

"Look, what he has is healthy. You're saying the arms aren't there and that's an injury. I mean, if someone is short we don't put them on the injury report as 'probable, height' do we? Rule is, if they receive medical treatment on something we report it. We didn't do any medical treatment this week on Venus, so we didn't list anything. That's the rules. You need to talk to the league about why the rules are what they are"Belichick could put Venus de Milo in at CB and he wouldn't concede an arm injury.

After hearing about Gronk's knee and back it's fair to wonder how he's doing after the game.Did Hightower get hurt Sunday? Gronk? What am I missing?
This is pure gold."Look, what he has is healthy. You're saying the arms aren't there and that's an injury. After watching Gronk look awesome the week after 20 reporters said 20 different things about him, it's fair to question whether BB fed the media a bunch of BS.After hearing about Gronk's knee and back it's fair to wonder how he's doing after the game.
Is this true? Do we have info other than the Mike Loyko tweet? Collins is so important to this team and to this game and "strained oblique" sounds ominous. I don't know if I would believe anybody saying anything anyway, but if one of you guys could make me feel better about Collins' availability that would be awesome.Collins appears to be ok, .
Moved over to lead-up thread.how big is the Harris Jr. loss?
At one point the LBs were Freeny, Fleming and Watson.Did Hightower get hurt Sunday? Gronk? What am I missing?
Given the Collins injury, I wonder if we see him in TE coverage with Chung cheating up for the run.
Thanks Ed.Kyed and Hannable both said they saw Collins in the locker room after the game and he appeared fine, moving normally, no noticeable discomfort. Hill had an article up saying Collins was expected to play yesterday, and now there is the Loyko tweet. Maybe he's hurt badly, but signs are positive at this point.
I don't have any concerns of him not playing. He played the last part of the season last year with a torn labrum. He's going to be on the field. Why do we have any concerns about Hightower playing? He was on the field 85% of snaps. I know he usually goes wire-to-wire but KC had the ball for a million snaps so its not exactly a shocker that he had to take a couple of breathers.
This seems excessively optimistic. We all know a few tweets from whomever doesn't mean squat, and Collins moving around fine in the locker room (if that is the case) means little, as well. If he was in such great shape, why wasn't he playing in the game? Oblique injuries as baseball fans know are pains in the ass. Given the physical demands of playing LB (granted it doesn't have the specific torque issues of swinging a bat or throwing a pitch, but still....) I'll remain worried about Collins until we see him both on the field and playing with something close to his usual effectiveness. Until then, there's little to be said optimistically or pessimistically....not like there'll be reliable health reports in the interim.Kyed and Hannable both said they saw Collins in the locker room after the game and he appeared fine, moving normally, no noticeable discomfort. Bleed, Harris Jr. playing limited snaps with limited effectiveness is massive. It puts Roby/??? on Edelman and moves everyone else down the chain. Roby is no slouch, but I highly doubt he can handle Edelman, especially inside. That also leaves I Have No Clue on Amendola/Martin and makes it more difficult for Denver to pull Talib off onto Gronk.
Thanks geo. Those posts are moved to the Game Ball Thread. Can't at least one thread stick to its topic? Or do we need to start another one where folks can get updated on the latest about Collins, Gronk, etc.
"The Real Pats Injury Watch"....
My pessimistic take on this is that at this time of year, everyone is going to be at practice unless they need to be in a hospital. Let's see who was participating in what fashion when the injury report comes out later today.(For those on the SOSH app: Twitter from Kyed says: "Jamie Collins, Chandler Jones and Julian Edelman among Patriots present for practice. Tre' Jackson the LONE absence for the walk-through."
Giddy up.
Thanks for posting the text of the tweet! My pessimistic take on this is that at this time of year, everyone is going to be at practice unless they need to be in a hospital. Let's see who was participating in what fashion when the injury report comes out later today.
