I'm using the terms of the person I was responding to. They said Spieth will playing "boring" golf. The guy who is -9 plays boring par golf?

I still don’t understand what Rickie was trying to do on 6 yesterday.Man, into the wind, with those bunkers, and OB left, that's about as scary a tee shot on Earth right now.
It's Rickie. He probably doesn't either.I still don’t understand what Rickie was trying to do on 6 yesterday.
Fair enough for today, but I feel like there is a perception that Spieth is a boring player but to me the guy has been involved in some of the more dramatic moments since he’s turned pro.Conservative. It's how he talked about playing after his round yesterday, and not a bad way to play with a lead and a lot of wind.
I’d be aiming 100 yards right into the rough if I were teeing that up.Man, into the wind, with those bunkers, and OB left, that's about as scary a tee shot on Earth right now.
Still going to need Spieth and Xander to falter a bit. Going to have to have vintage Tiger to emerge today to steal a shot or 2 from the field. If he just doesn't make bogey, and birdies the par 5's, he gets to -8. Tiger keeps hitting fairways, the way he's hitting his irons, bogey isn't really in play.
ZJ was there. So, who are the 7 golfers that stayed in the "party house" this year that they keep talking about? Spieth, Fowler, JT, Kisner for sure. Kuchar? Who else?
Edit: Oh yeah, Dufner was another one. That's 5.
There are two houses next to each other. They brought the chef from the Floridian to cook for themSo, who are the 7 golfers that stayed in the "party house" this year that they keep talking about? Spieth, Fowler, JT, Kisner for sure. Kuchar? Who else?

I read a Tweet that said something along the lines of "Rickie Fowler translated into Spanish is Sergio Garcia."I still don’t understand what Rickie was trying to do on 6 yesterday.
He hit it in the small alley of fairway between the rough and the bunkers, something like a 25 yard wide slot. Can someone explain the “Hogan’s Alley” lore? From the way I understand it, he hit his drive on 6 in the fairway all 4 rounds... is there more??
Agreed. Only has to worry about 2 other guys at this point. The key for Tiger right now is there aren’t 6-8 guys in those 3 strokes he’s back. Granted a bunch are lurking, but there is a huge difference between 3 back in 3rd place and 3 back in 7th place. He won’t need as much help if he can get to 9 or 10.
Not really, supposedly, he started his tee shot out over the out of bounds markers and let the wind bring it back into the fairway. Only British Open that Hogan ever played, and he won, which is some of the reason it's remembered so vividly. Can someone explain the “Hogan’s Alley” lore? Dustin Johnson and Jimmy Walker, too. I don't think Kuchar was there. Not sure about Dufner. So, who are the 7 golfers that stayed in the "party house" this year that they keep talking about? Spieth, Fowler, JT, Kisner for sure. Kuchar? Who else?

Kuchar no for sure unless they needed a chaperone, Dufner yes.Dustin Johnson and Jimmy Walker, too. I don't think Kuchar was there. Not sure about Dufner.
Sorry, Zach Johson. Dufner is confirmed.Dustin Johnson and Jimmy Walker, too. I don't think Kuchar was there. Not sure about Dufner.
Yeah, you could see from the tracer on Tigers second that he totally smoked it... amazing shotLeaders still have to play 6, and neither of them have the length to get over those bunkers, so they both need to get a bit lucky, and neither will be anywhere near where Tiger was after their 2nd shots. That's a HUGE birdie today.
That’s what I’m talking about picking up shots on the field.Leaders still have to play 6, and neither of them have the length to get over those bunkers, so they both need to get a bit lucky, and neither will be anywhere near where Tiger was after their 2nd shots. That's a HUGE birdie today.
If they are going split screen, leave the golf as the larger screen and play the commercial audio. If you’re giving us the choice to watch either side, whey are they assuming we’re watching the ad?OMG the commercials. They are non stop. They make me bleed.
Yeah, that was particularly unfortunate timing.OMG the commercials. They are non stop. They make me bleed.
I don't think I'd get out of the trapI could try that shot Schauffle just hit 100 times and I doubt I get it out of the trap.
Looked like he had it with a couple feet to go.These are the putts that Spieth makes.
Thought he did about a foot from the hole. These are the putts that Spieth makes.
That was a GREAT puttThese are the putts that Spieth makes.
