As we approach go-time, I thought it might be a fun time-waster to hazard guesses as to where a dozen other quarterbacks -- all of who are FA2B, tag possibilities, or in release or trade rumors -- might wind up this season.

And since our opinions don't mean diddly but do mean diddlysquat, the only rule in this exercise is that you can't guess the team they're on now. Put some thought into it and try to come up with some logic (or fun) guesses. (I mean, no one expects Dak not to be with the Cowboys ... but where would he fit best?)

So, guess away at Tom and The Brady Twelve

Tom Brady

Drew Brees
Teddy Bridgewater
Andy Dalton
Tayson Hill
Case Keenum
Marcus Mariotta
Cam Newton
Dak Prescott
Phillip Rivers
Josh Rosen
Ryan Tannehill
Jameis Winston

deep inside Guido territory
If the rule is best fits and not the current team.

Tom Brady-Cowboys(McCarthy is a good offensive mind, good OL, good weapons and they could franchise Cooper, and good defense. Mediocre division too.)
Drew Brees-Patriots(BB and Brees seem like they would love to work together)
Teddy Bridgewater-Bucs(I feel they could win the division with Bridgewater at QB)
Andy Dalton-Steelers(Ben needs a legit backup)
Tayson Hill-Titans(him with a re-signed Derrick Henry would be a heck of a tandem in that backfield)
Case Keenum-Bears(would be a good guy to come in and push Mitch Tribusky. Vet presence)
Marcus Mariota-Ravens(upgrade on RG3 as Lamar Jackson's backup)
Cam Newton-Redskins(familiar with Rivera, could mentor Haskins, decent weapons around him)
Dak Prescott-Saints(great fit with what the Saints do.)
Phillip Rivers-Colts(former OC and relationship with Reich are a big match)
Josh Rosen-49ers(if he has a chance of making it, go develop under Kyle Shanahan)
Ryan Tannehill-Broncos(Drew Lock isn't ready. Elway loves arm talent)
Jameis Winston-Chargers(ready made team to prove himself with)

Skipped a few guys who will definitely be backups (because who cares?), plus two guys who just obviously aren’t going anywhere.

Tom Brady — Titans
Drew Brees — retires (no way he plays anywhere but NO)
Teddy Bridgewater — Bucs
Andy Dalton — Pats
Tayson Hill — backup
Case Keenum — backup
Marcus Mariotta — backup
Cam Newton — Washington
Dak Prescott — n/a (zero chance the Cowboys don’t tag him)
Phillip Rivers — Dolphins
Josh Rosen — backup
Ryan Tannehill — Panthers
Jameis Winston — Colts
