FWIW I left a courteous message asking him if it was a pre-planned investigation and if the referees checked the footballs with pressure gauges prior to the game, and if the NFL was going to address these questions anytime soon.

If I were to wager the ebb/flow, this looks to be gaining steam, not losing it.
