Which they can’t because they have no picks forever! So so funny. The Nets are a mess. They need to tear it all apart and rebuild.
When's the last (first?) time a star player got traded before the coach was fired when the team was in a freefall?Wow. Surprised by Nash’s firing a bit. I would’ve figured the Nets would’ve made a trade of some sorts in an attempt to fix things before firing him.
Josh Primo would also help the Nets. Just sayin'.Mods feel free to break out new thread, wasn't sure where to post the Nash news
Ime under consideration per Woj
Impressed seeing Mitch Trubisky take time out of his day to fight the fight.
I would not put too much stock in this for a few reasons.LOFL, so much for Mr. Tsai being an ethical guy
Was coming to say the same thing, only not as well.I would not put too much stock in this for a few reasons.
Reports are about who "is under consideration" for coaching gigs are notorious as a way of currying favor. Any such "report" should be taken with a giant grain of salt. To which we add:
Woj's reporting around Ime has already been called into question; and
Would seem on the face to be a horrible business/basketball decision to bring him. The distraction would be immense, since both the Nets and Ime would be constantly faced with questions about what exactly transpired during his tenure in Boston to lead to the suspension. Though maybe Tsai is playing 3D chess and figures a distraction from the distraction of Kyrie is what the team needs.
David Duke plays for the Nets. The Nets are expected to inquire with Duke about the coaching vacancy.
David Duke.
Maybe Durant will rescind his ineffectual trade request now?
You don't think this is more Nash saying "Get me the fuck outta here"LOFL, so much for Mr. Tsai being an ethical guy
Then again... according to Shams, there are active discussions.I would not put too much stock in this for a few reasons.

This would be a great move if your objective is to alienate even more people in Brooklyn then you already have.I guess it shouldn't be surprising that he'd be looked at so soon after the incident, but it is.

He is.Have we fired Udoka yet? Thought he was just suspended.
No, he's suspended - this is where the compensation has been mentioned. We'll take Claxton!Have we fired Udoka yet? Thought he was just suspended.
Hello, Ime Udoka?Bye bye Steve Nash.
I have a feeling that the Celtics aren't in a position to negotiate compensation.Ime + ? for Nic Claxton
That locker room should be a good time.Woj says he’s likely hired within next day or two. He got the ultimate punishment, Kyrie and Ben Simmons.
Not paying him 3 years of salary which is around $9MI don’t understand why Ime wasn’t just fired if they are letting him go for free…
Is it a case of wanting to control where he goes? Legal ramifications if they fire him?
Why not? They never fired him so he's still under contract. Granted they dont have a lot of leverage, but they should get something for releasing him.I have a feeling that the Celtics aren't in a position to negotiate compensation.
Thank you.breaking out...
