Pat Jordan provides a very in-depth analysis of the World Series and the coverage thereof, with particular emphasis on the talking heads: http://www.sportsonearth.com/article/66073606/

Were he to explain his assertion reasonably quickly, I may have found it humorous. Instead, it's a puerile insult that just sits there.I watched to have my beliefs verified. The 'Canes were tougher than the 'Noles in the fourth quarter. The Spurs played a superior, more selfless brand of basketball than the Lakers. The under-financed Rays played baseball as it was meant to be played, like fun-loving boys. The over-financed Yankees played the game without joy, like robber barons, only for money. The Red Sox played the game like mindless brats.
