Here
Ooohhhhh, this is basically breaking new ground, right? Has a top 5-10 QB not infused with copious amounts of HGH into their neck ever been traded like this? Bledsoe?

Rest In Peace to Josh McDaniels, who waited for the perfect opportunity to end his coaching career before it ever restarted.

Ha, immediately one of my first thoughts as well. Horrific day for the Raiders.

Done concern trolling Flores, and now on to transparent trolling re: McDaniels?

Anyways, McDaniels is likely gonna coach 2-3 years in Denver at least, and even if he’s canned he will waltz into an OC job if he wants it.

I don’t see how this transaction isn’t bad news for every AFCW team.

Best QB traded was probably one of these:
Brett Favre... yes he was 38, but he also had just finished top 3 in MVP voting
Fran Tarkenton?
Norm Van Brocklin?
Warren Moon
Jay Cutler?
Bledsoe

In the long run, sure, but doesn’t this all but ensure an already bad Seahawks team isn’t competing soon? If I’m the Cards I’m thinking my path in the early Kyler years just got a little easier.

Favre was pretty great his last year with the Packers. Of course, the circumstances are entirely different.

It’s bad news because Josh McDaniels now has the worst QB in the division by a pretty significant margin and has to play Russell Wilson, Justin Herbert or Patrick Mahomes SIX times per year.

Woops I meant to say AFCW, my fault.
Haha, that makes more sense.

Absolutely agreed, though I think KC fans can hang their hat on Mahomes being better and LAC fans can on Herbert still being cheap (with an argument for being better soon as well). I like Carr, but it seems unlikely that he gets better and the rookie contract benefit is long gone.

Moon's 1993 season was likely his best. He was the Oilers' offense that year. They started 1-4 but rattled off 11 in a row to finish 12-4.

He was traded to Minnesota the following offseason.

I assume the #9 pick is one of the picks being traded by DEN to SEA. DEN had two 2nds (DEN/LAR) and two 5ths (DEN/DET) this year, prior to the trade.
