Ortiz made $ from Samsung for taking that selfie - that is quality viral advertising right there, I am sure Samsung is pretty damn happy that Ortiz pulled that off. I guess he comes thru in the clutch in advertising as well:

These pictures are fantastic--just catching up with the event. Thanks RSN and Marc. Big Papi and Xander clean up the best but wow, stars and stripes in a jacket looks like a 4th of July gag.
Well, I'm not the least bit grumpy, but I am very turned off by Ortiz turning that moment into a commercial deal, unless the $ is going to The Jimmy Fund or equivalent.
