Additionally - per the push notice the MLB app threw at me, Mayer hit his first pro HR today.
 
The AL East is pretty incredible:

  • collectively +181 in run differential (at the time I'm writing this -- 2nd in baseball behind NL West at +225, next best after that is AL West at -50)
  • Total FV of $1.343B (NL Central: $1.131B, NL West: $1.090B, AL Central: $.970B, NL East: $.829B, AL West: $.740B
The NL West gets all of the press for being the superdivison, but the AL East is awfully close while also having the best collective farm by a margin. There's a really good chance that the AL East is ultra competitive for much of the decade.

Unless I'm missing someone Mayer and Casas are the Sox first FG top 25 prospects since before 2017 when Moncada was #1 AB was #2 Kopech was #21 and Devers was #22
