Chris Sale is on record as saying he really likes the yellow unis. If they're good enough for Chris Sale, they're good enough for me.
With all due respect to Sale, and just fer historical accuracy, he cut up the retro jerseys in Chicago because the collar was cut differently than the normal uniforms, was higher on the neck, and he felt it impeded his body as he threw ... I actually don't think this is all that crazy! It wasn't an aesthetic reason (given his like for the yellow unis, I'm not sure aesthetics are his forte).
Could be nothing. Could be simply covering all bases (pun intended) for emergency situations. Depending on roster construction, the bench could be thin enough that Dalbec has to be #3 on the depth chart at 2B after Arroyo and Kike. It's that or carry Arauz which might not be practical.
there is absolutely no way they are putting Bobby D at second base in games that have any meaning. Truthfully he shouldnt be going there, even if they are locked in sometime in Washington. After what happened to Arroyo in his 20 minutes at First, I would assume they dont want to run the same risk.
Tom Goodwin won't get the vaccine so Ramon Vazquez is coaching 1st base for the rest of the season and into the postseason(if they get there).
