Yeah they reduced it to free parking for all lots across Rt 1. In fact, they will pay you $50 to park in the delayed departure lots. Pretty nice gesture that should reduce congestion pre-game because people won't have to stop to pay to park. STH can still have the option of paying for a stadium-side parking spot. But reduce parking prices.

That's my curiosity as well. There didn't seem to be much downward price pressure when Gillette introduced free delayed exit parking and reduced the cost of the lots across route one.Interesting. I wonder what effect this will have on property owners that allow people to park on their property. I would imagine less people would be willing to pay a private entity when they can park in a patriot controlled lot for free?
As far as I know, you don't "get" any parking passes. The lots across the street from the stadium are just going to be free from now on. There was no indication that it has any link to season-ticket holder status. Is what it is, I guess. Here's my question though, you get how many parking passes per ticket? I have 4 season tickets, but I never go down there with all 4 people in my car. Does that mean only one car gets the parking pass, or do they give out one pass for each ticket, etc?
Gotcha, guess it sucks for those of us who choose not to park at the stadium and prefer to walk there to avoid the traffic. Seems to me this is going to create more congestion. If everyone that parks outside of the stadium lots now starts using those lots due to reduced/free parking, it's going to be a shit show.As far as I know, you don't "get" any parking passes. OR, you can pay $225 for a season parking pass for parking in the stadium side lots. One pass = one car. I don't know if you can pay for multiple season parking passes for those lots, but I doubt it.
EDIT: This was the exact message from the email:
- Free general parking: To improve the efficiency of arriving traffic, parking will be free in all stadium-owned general parking lots (across Route 1 from the stadium).
- Be paid to park: Those who choose to park in our 75-minute delayed-release lot will earn a $50 Visa gift card when entering the lot.
- Stadium-side prepaid parking: Season Ticket Members have the option to purchase an electronic and transferable season parking pass for $225 ($25 per game).
I'm so doing this. Every week and watching the games at CBS bar, perhaps.

This is without a doubt. You're going to have more people arrive to Foxboro, no questions.Seems to me this is going to create more congestion.
I would have to think they'd limit this to STH, or at least game day ticket holders, only?I'm so doing this. Every week and watching the games at CBS bar, perhaps.
I think Ale means that after the game ends, spending the requisite 75 minutes watching the late games at the CBS bar? But if not, then yeah, I'll bet they'll require a gameday ticket to get the $50.I would have to think they'd limit this to STH, or at least game day ticket holders, only?
It's going to be a big test on that first gameday to see how things shake out. They're pretty fast-and-loose with the "lots open 4 hours before kickoff" most of the time, but I hope they plan on opening the P10/P11 lots earlier to account for increased demand. I mean, I can easily burn 5 hours behind my car with my grill and beer instead of 4, but I have to know I can get into the lot if I'm going to make the hour+ drive and get there at 8am for 1PM games. This is without a doubt. You're going to have more people arrive to Foxboro, no questions.
Maybe it's part of the plan. (Get more Patriot Place business)
What if people want to buy tickets at halftime?I would have to think they'd limit this to STH, or at least game day ticket holders, only?

Well if your phone isn’t charged, you’re not getting into the game anyway, so no $50 for you. What if people want to buy tickets at halftime?
What if people don’t have their phones charged?
The whole point of this is to not have any interaction between parking people and attendees. Asking for proof of tickets removes that.
Oof. Thanks, Jess!Short of a time machine, no can do. Shame too, I truly enjoyed that place. Was one of the first to go, got an underrated BBQ chicken pizza there after taking a stadium tour on the field and such in high school.
