The Cubs make me irrationally angry. I should be sympathetic to their plight. But then I remember that Theo left the Sox in the lurch, that Maddon is their manager, that they poached Lester (and Ross!) from the Sox and that they somehow got Rizzo from the Padres after Hoyer oozed his way out of San Diego.

I feel conflicted.
