So sick of this fake-ass Joe Maddon / Cubs tough guy act.

Can't wait 'til they get bounced. Probably my most-hated team outside of the AL East.

Fuck the Cubs.

I just lost respect for Arrieta
Why?  - It couldn't have been more obvious what that was about.  It's easy to sit in a broadcast booth or on your couch and say "Take your base and shut up". But in a one game do or die situation emotions run really high.

Rodriguez needs to be tossed.  Not for his role there, mind you, but for his fucking hair.
He totally just lost his spot in my keeper lea....

He can "lose command" around a guys head but cant take one off his big ol rump? Nah. Screw him.

Hard to argue that Arieta's HBPs were intentional though .. He likes to pitch inside .. Sometimes it gets away.
Isn't the downside you might get hit yourself though?

Arrieta looks like Garret Dillahunt from Justified this year

Hah, I can't un-see it now.  All night I've been saying to myself he looks like someone, and sure enough that was him.

Well maybe his hits were a mistake. What happened to him obviously was not.  That's the big difference.
And again in a regular season game maybe he does just walk to first. Everybody is hugely amped up here.

You think he intentionally threw at them? Wasn't one a curveball?

When you're up four runs at the end of the game, you shouldn't start fights

Well he didn't exactly charge the mound. It was a staring contest and the benches emptying really fired it up. Too much adrenalin (And maybe some other chemicals  )
