I think Stevie is top 5. He’s been there 8 years and they have 3 conference finals appearances and 1 cup appearance. They are set up to be a juggernaut going forward too. There are mistakes (Callahan extension), but the handling cap space issues and the Stamkos, Hedman and Kucherov extensions over the last few seasons have been top notch. They’ve got a bevy of prospects that have been draft and developed under his watch. Knock him for Drouin, but he handled the trade demand perfectly and eventually maximized value and got Sergachev. If he pulls of Karlsson without moving major pieces off the roster (Point, Sergachev), that would be one hell of a heist. Stevie has his work cut out for him going forward in getting Kucherov a new deal, Point a new deal and potentially an extension for Karlsson.
