Screw the leaves. I am calling in a landscaper, lord knows there are enough of them around. Pittsburgh sporting the bees today.

The Giants @ New Orleans is also a pertinent early game ... particularly for those who want to see NY teams in crisis

Giants run the Seattle goal line play on fourth and goal and get a touchdown. Even with Browner on the Saints (didn't see if he was on the field for the play thought). People criticizing Pete Carroll for that call are crazy.

The people who criticize Pete are the same people who think kickers aren't football players, you need to run the ball to win in the playoffs, going for it on 4th Down is arrogant and running up the score is classless.

See I thought they changed the rules and said no more throwbacks? I recall us discussing we weren't going to see Pat the Patriot again.

Throwback uniforms are okay.  There was an issue with throwback helmets due to safety reasons.

Was it a poor throw or a dropped pass? I guess you just say both and you can't be wrong ;)

Both the Saints and Steelers ran a flea flicker in the 1st Quarter today.  Weird.

Pat Patriot helmets not up to standard is the issue
Why can't the pats foot the bill for new helmets with the old logo that are up to code in addition to the current ones they have?

90% of punts have a flag thrown on them these days. Just have your team fair catch it and tell your gunners to not block if they get even with you.

Ya. I edited my posted with a PFT article saying its the helmet but teams can replace the logos etc. So, just scrape off the silver paint, slap some white and Pat on. Good to go.

Awesome fumble forced in ATL.
Julio jones running in the open field, LB catches him from behind, rips the ball away and turns around and runs a 15 yard return.

Throwback helmets were never old helmets.  They've always been current helmets with old graphics.  The issue, I guess, is simply re-fitting all the players with a second helmet, which really isn't a very big deal.

Isn't it pretty well known that Kraft hated the old unis? Is it so much that he won't even put up with an occasional throwback uni game, though?

My wife was watching with me last week and she remarked that she didnt realize Reggie Bush was on the team.  I said yeah because he has gotten hurt after about 2 snaps in the 2 maybe 3 games he's been in this year. If that.  I've never seen somone so injury prone.  Jesus-

I was going to say the Ellsbury of football, but I liked Ellsbury a lot when the Sox had him. Guess I've said it now though.
