Golson is one of my favorite CB's in the draft. Ballhawk. Likely only limited to the slot though.

If the Pats are looking for a Vereen replacement, I'd love to see them take a late round flyer on one of the FCS kids. David Johnson from Northern Iowa (although he will probably go earlier), Zenner from South Dakota State, Varga from Yale. All of whom caught the ball and were huge playmakers in college, but don't necessarily have the combine times that would scream third down back.
For my money, the best back left on the board is Tevin Coleman from Indiana. Jeremy Langford from Michigan State is interesting too. Javorious Allen, now apparently known as "Buck"(I assume it's the same guy) is an enigma. I thought he was an underclassmen, and didn't get a lot of touches through the years, but could be a stud.

Well, I'm sure they look at stuff like special teams and that factors in. But there are probably guys they look at that they don't like as fits and don't like as special teamers. Then they're looking at drafting guys that have only a tiny chance of making the team.ZMart100 said:

Big fan of Golson. Would have loved to have seen the Pats grab him. Kid had like 14 picks last year. Nobody else had more than 8 or so. I don't care what his "numbers" say, guys that find ways to get to the ball, find ways to get to the ball. Plenty of guys without the greatest physical talents have come through Foxboro and shined because they just made plays by being where they were supposed to be. Football IQ beats physical talent, maybe not all the time, but quite a bit.
