I think the drive was clean but that was 100% a loose ball foul on the rebound. I don't know what Gene was seeing. You can't just slap a guy's arm when he's trying to corral the ball. Kennesaw got robbed.Officials missed at least two clear fouls there. On the drive and the first chance at the rebound.
Just realized that's Sean Miller.I actually like this Xavier coach. Good answers.
Well other than the fact that Miller ran a corrupt program at Arizona, yeah. Those were good answers actually.I actually like this Xavier coach. Good answers.
And someone tell Xavier to get bigger numbers on the back...ruins a pretty nice uniform.Because it's the only thing Orange that made it into the tournament?
Go cats go!I know there is a UVM contingent on the board. LFG! Shock the world
(or at least Charles Barkley)
I was on a phone call with a guy that works for me who went to Iowa St. I called out when they were down 10-1. About 10 minute later, I was able to let him know that they had successfully doubled their score. And I've got them going to the Sweet 16 in almost all of my brackets. Christ!Iowa State Appears to not have arrived at the gym.
They've made it to 30 in 34+ minutes.Iowa State had 28 points in 31 minutes.
That is truly amazing. And they still can win.
Hawkins was apparently having his back worked on during one of the timeouts, and he was grabbing it a bit during parts of the game. Looks like he's hurt and trying to play through it. Hurley might have to keep him on the bench for more of the second half, which is concerning.Uconn needs to slow the game down. They can’t play at this pace for 40 minutes because it takes their big man advantage out. Hawkins has to get going. He’s killing them.
I am an idiot.Hawkins was apparently having his back worked on .... Hurley might have to keep him on the bench for more of the second half...
The overall quality of basketball in this game was just excellent. On paper it looks like just another win by a high seed. On the court that was a pretty good team. This has been an amazing half by UConn.
When Sanogo sat around 14 minutes Iona was drawing fouls effectively and was also able to get it to single digits and play decent defense. Clingan was the difference in that four minutes.Clingan also put up fantastic numbers today, there is just no break for opponents with those two.
It’s the shortest roster in basketball vs the tallest D1 player. There’s your mismatch.sure FDU is reasonably skilled and all but I feel it shouldn’t be this difficult for Purdue to exploit a glaring mismatch.
