I wonder if Celtics (or Warriors/Nets for that matter) have done material background work on Whitmore.

Presumably Houston has, given the early pick.

ESPN telecast sucks.

‘Explain to us where the Warriors are relative to that second tax apron, front office expert’

‘Well here is the luxury tax bill with and without Draymond’s theoretical 28M salary.’

Answer the question, meat.

OMP = ???
First several times I saw it used on the board was in various trade discussions and I read it as OPM and figured it was cash coming back to the Celtics. Took at least 2-3 days before I realized it was someone’s initials.

Heat are going to take Whitmore here and he's going to be fully healthy and an All-Star by year 2, it is just how it's going to go
Thought for sure that'd be the end of Whitmore's slide, even though I like Jaime J a lot, too. But...this is going from shocking to...whatever is more than shocking.

Hate seeing Jacquez going to Miami. He’s going to be a pain in our ass for years to come.
Who the f is this poster?

FWIW - SSF is the first person I met in real life from knowing on the internet. He’s a DTFC original and we went to opening day 2000 in Seattle to see Pedro mow down the Mariners. Or was it ‘99? Sox shut ‘em out…

Every time I see Grady Dick I wish GS had picked him so Draymond could punch him out.

Well, that was fun while it lasted! But a couple teams with all the incentive to take big swings between Celtics and Whitmore. That Houston pick was widely thought to be available pre-draft too.

Wonder if Celtics roll the dice on Dariq Whitehead. That is, if Board Favorite OMP isn't available of course

Given how reactionary Marks has become in recent years I’m fully expecting him to draft Prosper and crow about how he beat the Celtics again.

So who we like that's still on the board?
I think my top 3 is probably (in no order)
Smith
Prosper
Murray

Edit- forgot Colby Jones, he'd be on my shortlist

Your post had me curious - he had a start in each season that could fit the bill. 15 K in 8 innings in September 1999, then 7 K in a CG win in August 2000.

The thing that kinda sucks for Cam is that when you start slipping you can at least tell yourself "well at least I'm going to a better team"...nope here's Houston!

On the other hand... no taxes and all their highly picked wings stink so you can win a job quick

There are five guys I like, so I expect to be happy no matter what. To your list I’ll add Miller and Prosper.

Switch to the Windhorst ESPN stream. It’s way better than national show. I’m not saying it’s great but it’s way better
