I think Clemson needs to play this like they are a big underdog and take some gambles...I think that's the way to beat 'Bama. I know what they did last year, I get playing it pretty straight, I just think 'Bama is so tough you need the gambles to beat them this time around.

And if Clemson cannot set the edge on defense, it will be a long night.

That Jacobs run inexcusable from Clemson's standpoint.

Well, they said it wasn't the crown of the helmet
well he did, but that doesn't matter under the rule, he hit him in the head with his helmet when he was defenseless, it was basically the definition of the rule.

No player shall target and initiate contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent with the helmet, forearm, fist, elbow or shoulder. When in question, it is a foul. ( Rule 2-27-14) Note: Beginning in 2013, ejection from the game is a part of the penalty for violation of both Rule 9-1-3 and Rule 9-1-

They said he didn't meet the "defenseless" definition
ok. those are all terrible decisions, he's down when he's hit and it was the top of his helmet.
Did they clarify why they didn't call a hold when the guy tackled his man to get the RB the corner on the TD?

I'm just surprised they called the hold that killed this ala drive

Bama's passing game thus far looks worse than the Raiders with Connor Cook

Doesn't he need to touch feet back in play before touching ball? It's close, but he did I think

They love pushing this Sarkisian thing. Every comment about the offense relates back to Sark somehow
The whole "redemption" angle is a bit disgusting when you consider why "Sark" was fired at USC.

But I guess he's still a better human than the odious Lane Kiffin, so the media will play him up.

At least they're playing my favorite Stones song going to break, must be costing them a fortune.
