Surprising--I would have much preferred that they DFA Brasier. Barnes has been highly inconsistent, but finished last season pitching well. I thought he still had something left.

No shit! Yeah… and Brasier is still $2.75M . The ratio of likely performance to cost isn’t that awful on the difference.
That guy HAS to have something on Cora (and I believe he’s a Cora guy that he draws a line at…. Bloom doesn’t construct the pen without his input!)
